I received this as a gift for Father's Day. My wife and child helped with the process which made the initial gift even more special. Since then, I have ordered additional refil kits of other varietals. The wine is tasty but not amazing as you would expect. Definetly good to enjoy with friends and family.

great gift

I was a little skeptical when the concept of a winemaking kit was presented to me but I'm so glad I pursued. Typically home wine making involves buckets and siphons in dark basements and many steps. But the process of making wine in just 28 days with the Artful Winemaker was surprisingly simple and the end result is fantastic wine that I'm proud to give as a gift or enjoy with my friends! I love that there are 5 different varietals available on the refills and I'm looking forward to making them one-by-one. The Personal Winemaking System is very sleek looking as well, and looked great on my kitchen counter as the wine fermented - unlike those unsightly buckets and tubes. The kit also comes with beautiful labels that I've signed to make a really nice personal gift. The kit will make a great gift itself for any do-it-yourself wine lover. Enjoy!
