I found this extremely easy to operate, didn't take any pressure at all. I would have liked the stand to hold the rabbit ears in place, they just move around unsecured. It feels very sturdy and should last a long time. But it's the best opener I have ever used.

This is an elegant product that builds upon the very best concept in wine bottle opening around. Not only is this product heavy duty and flawlessly functional, it is very handsome to display on your bar or counter. It comes with a stand and a foil cutter that go together to form an easy to use and high performance corkscrew. I almost never get to use it since my basic screwpull lever model still operates flawlessly, however I have started to use this luxury model with greater frequency. Easy to remove cork after removal from the bottle and foil cutter mounts on display base.
