This works beautifully. I was amazed to see how effortless I popped the first cork. I almost did not have to pull up after pushing the buttom and the gas was injected.

This is a fun product, but not as useful over the long haul as I had hoped. It gets NOWHERE NEAR the 80 - 100 cork pops it advertises, making it expensive to maintain. Older corks which may be wedged in and stuck in the bottle do not come out easily at all, so this device is best used on newer vintages. Make sure to always have an extra cartridge on hand, because if you run out of gas while the needle is in the cork, it's very difficult to remove the needle. On the plus side: when it works it works well, and it always gets an "Oh! How cool!" comment from guests.
