Pedestal Beverage Dispenser

Makes filling up fuss-free! Serving sangria, punch, or any refreshment just got a lot easier, and neater. Sliding your glass under the silver spigot to fill up means no more heavy pitchers to lift or spatter to clean. Raised jar with lid holds 2 gallons. Mouth-blown, lead-free crystal. Spigot…

Dispenser Needs Improvements

3.0

Pros

  • Easy to Use Spigot
  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Plastic spigot

Best Uses

The dispenser beautifully displays beverages without being too fancy and doesn't require a pedestal to put a cup under the spigot. One design flaw - you must tip the dispenser to get the remaining beverage out of the bottom (several cups worth). One quality issue - why did they use a plastic spigot that only looks like metal? For me, it is the best beverage dispenser option out there at this time. If you don't need it right away, I would wait and see if someone comes out with a higher quality spigot.

Ok for the price

This is a decent pedestal type drink dispenser. Be aware the spiggot is plastic, not metal. Also, it's not the best quality. The one I received is chipped around the rim of the lid and the glass itself has bubbles and a few random lines in it. I think I paid $50-60 for it and kinda regret it now that I see the quality. But honestly, good quality versions of this product are more pricey. So I suppose I got what I paid for.

Very attractive. Many compliments from guest. It is heavy and difficult to wash or handle but that is no surprise given the design. If you know you can not handle a large top heavy item just don't buy. It is very pretty with lemonade, iced tea, and punch. High enough to fill glasses underneath without having to elevate.

Pretty but not functional

Pros

Cons

I purchased these for a party but the spigots kept clogging and causing the beverage flow to stop completely. Several times, I had to completely empty the lemonaide or Iced tea and clean out a clogged spigot so my guests could serve themselves. This product is very pretty but only if you are serving someting without pulp, garnishes, or ice cubes that all can jam it.

I love this container!! It holds a lot of Sangria! The only thing I did not like about it was that in the catalog the valve is pewter colored but the one I received was brass. But other than that, this is a must-have for Sangria makers!

I used 2 of these at our wedding - one filled with ice water with lime slices, the other filled with citrus punch with orange slices. They added such a nice touch to the beverage table!
