We used these glasses for New Years. Love the shape and that they are stronger than most crystal glassware. Got a great deal on them with two extra glasses thrown in.

Gave these to my sister and her husband, who have a bad habit of breaking champagne glasses. These made it through the holidays, which is a first. The only downside is that they don't give a satisfying "clink" when you toast, more like a dull click. But if you are a chronic glass breaker, that is probably a worthwhile trade off.

I bought these for a Christmas party. Everyone was very impressed when I brought them out for the toast. They showed the Champagne well and the long stem and broad base made it easy to keep the champagne cold. My father in-law felt they were too delicate and would break, then my mother-in law knocked hers over on the marble bar. It didn't break. So as of now they completely live up to expectations.
