Riedel Vinum Zinfandel / Chianti Wine Glasses (Set of 2)

I purchased my own stemware a few months ago. I purchased these for some friends on the East coast. They emailed me the day after using them to rave about the experience. Hard to believe, but it does make a big difference which glasses you use to drink wine from. I don't put any stemware in the dishwasher. I always wash by hand.

Very nice wine glasses. They are not as delicate the glasses in the sommelier line but they are perfect for daily use or for use entertaining. They seem very sturdy, although I suspect that they are too delicate for the dishwasher (rather than take my chances, we wash the glasses by hand). Overall, great buy!

We have used the glasses numerous times since purchase. They have enhanced the flavor of the zinfandels and sangioveses we sampled. Cudos to Riedel.

These glasses are lovely, delicate and with somewhat thin glass. It can be difficult to clean them if you plan to put your hand or dish cloth inside the bowl. I do not. I run mine under extremely hot running water - no soap.

We use them for everyday & with friends. They make drinking wine more enjoyable. We can't afford separate glasses for each wine type but have found the Zinfandel/Chianti style works well with most wine varieties.

I wanted a few "chianti" glasses and bought these Zinfandel/Chianti ones. The design is much narrower than what I have seen used in Tuscan restaurants. That said, I love these glasses, the look and sound of them and the feel of them on the lips. I hand-wash my glassware, so I don't know about dishwasher safe features.
