The tulip shape of these glasses is perfect for Champagne. Maybe I shouldn't, but I do wash them in the dishwasher and as long as I'm careful I have no problems. I ordered four glasses recently because of attrition -- they do break easily if you're not careful. But I wouldn't want to use any other Champagne glass.

We use them not only for champagne but all the sparkling wines we drink and serve to friends. We like that the string of bead from the bottom of the glass does not disappear, pour after pour. Cleaning up is easy, it's the hand-drying that takes time. Overall, an excellent buy.
