Even though the manufacturer states that they are dishwasher safe, so far I am hand washing them, as they are they are very delicate and elegant glasses.

These are very nice champagne flutes.

I ordered this set based on the representation of being the most break resistant glasses. I was replacing some of the inevitably broken flutes from other sets purchased in the past. I was expecting them to be able to withstand normal handling, since our experience with most champagne flutes is that they are delicate, by design, and break very easily. My concern with this set is that one was broken the very first time we used the glasses, and there was no rough handling. The glass literally shattered in a guest's hand as she was sliding a thin wash cloth into it to clean the glass. No significant force was involved, and the cloth in question, a reusable/diposable Handi-wipe, is very thin, and should not have caused any unusual stress on the glass. But the glass still broke and could have caused injury in the process. I was very disappointed.

These flutes have a very narrow opening compared to the Reidel flutes. The first time you take a sip you will notice your nose gets in the way when you turn one up for a drink. They look better than they drink.

We ordered a full set of this stemware for my husbands birthday to replace his Mikasa. The first time I washed the Chardonnay glass, it lightly stuck to something on the towel I used for draining and gently tapped against the cabinet and broke the stem. The third time I used the pinot glass, my husband was wiping it out with a wash cloth and the entire side broke off. I've had lead crystal for 30 years and the only stem that has broken was one a guest dropped on my hearth. I want to send the entire order back. It was not as advertised.

For champagne or white wine.

These glasses are stylish and durable. They are a great size for large and small hands and despite their slender design, they are not top heavy so they do not tip over easily. I recommend to any champagne lover serve to serve their best in these glasses.
