Modular 40 Bottle Wine Rack (Natural)

The wine rack arrived on time as promissed. The absolute disappointment came during assemebley that was I was never able to complete. If one cube doesn't assemble 100% square it throws the rest of them all off. So do the math... 160 wood pins hold this system together. Was never able to get further than 12 cubes. I even had a carpenter handman friend come help and after two hours of frustration the [$] purchase ended up in the recycle bin. Partial assembly makes it impossible to disassemble and return for a refund. So the minute you begin assemble you have no chance of returning. Don't fall victim to this cruel wine system. I re-oerdered 6402404 compact cellar cubes. Put four of them together as one storage unit! Worked perfectly and was very easy to assemble and it looks amazing.

A little difficult to assemble. You MUST use a mallet. It gets easier as it goes along and is well worth the effort. We use it for wine under a console in my husband's office. Excellent use of space and VERY attractive. Looks like it was meant to be there. Ours is chock full of bottles and is SO STRONG! We highly recommend this product. Just don't worry if you think the pegs might not fit. All it takes is patience and a few targeted swings with the mallet. Very rewarding in so many ways.....

This rack was pretty easy to assemble, I recommend using a rubber mallet and cover the wood with a thin towel to avoid marking the wood. I needed a way to store my wine in my basement and this allowed me to build the racks to the specs needed. Good buy for the money.

Its modular design allowed me to maximize wine storage in the space I had available. As a bonus, I was able to build a second wine rack in another room, with the left over sections.

Well constructed product. Easy to assemble. Clean, simple design. Two issues: 1) Hard to read the labels since the bottle slides into its own cubby. 2) When assembling, be sure each peg is fully seated as you build it. Otherwise, the fully assembled rack will be inconsistently crooked and it is hard to then further seat each peg.

As advertised. However, in a 4 bottle wide by 10 bottle high configuration, two additional parts are required that manufacturer should either include or caution about.

I had no problems assembling this. It's sturdy and the design allows for all kinds of bottle shapes. Something I can't say about many wine racks. Definitely happy with my purchase.
