Swedish 126 Bottle Wine Rack (Mahogany)

Have purchased pine version from other vendors. ALthough this took a long time to deliver, it is built better and much better finished than pine units. This could actually be used as furniture.

I purchased this for use in a finished basement, and it more than adequately fills the bill.

It is difficult to judge something from only a picture, but I was very impressed with the quality of this product. It was relatively easy to assemble, which I did myself, and was quite sturdy. I bought two units and currently have them fee-standing. I will probably anchor them to the wall once I have a permanent location, but I am not concerned.

Takes time to assemble.

When UPS dropped off the boxes, they looked beaten up. But the wine rack inside was packaged well, no damage. I wasn't sure if this was going to be sturdy and strong enough. But after assembly and starting to tighten things up the unit became solid. It was exactly what I was looking for in cellar wine storage. It turned out to be very sturdy and strong enough to hold the 100+ bottles that I put into it. When the time comes, I will purchase another one, which will tie together with this unit as designed.

Used the rack to add to my existing wine cellar storage area. Perfect size and bottle capacity for my purposes.

Assembly was much less of a hassle that I expected given previous reviews I read on your web site. Well engineeered and Sturdy/stable.

Easy to assemble, nice looking and sturdy. Not disappointed at all.

Great value for a very sturdy rack with lots of capacity. It's relatively easy to assemble, but just make sure that all the vertical supports are on the correct sides. I had to start over when I realized that the screw holes for the cross support rods were on alternate sides. Could have drilled my own, but it was just as easy to start over. Also, since there are so many bolts to screw in, using a power screwdriver is HIGHLY recommended. The allen wrench provided works fine, but it's very time consuming. Also, keep all the bolts relatively loose until all the shelves are in. Then, tighten to your heart's content. The unit is heavy and very stable. It's perfect in my wine cellar.

Excellent craftsmanship. Solid, sturdy, and very attractive. I wouldn't consider it decorative so wouldn't use it as a showpiece. However, in a wine cellar, several together look very high-end. Having a second pair of hands for the first few shelves is a plus. Other than a bit awkward at first, the assembly was very easy.

This project takes 2 people to start. If you read the directions you will have no problem. Don't assume you know how to put it together,... you will be wrong. It holds the bottles beautifully and securely. It looks great we are thinking of purchasing another one soon. You won't be disapointed.

Just finished assembling eight of these kits in natural color for my cellar. This is a truly outstanding product: (1) the quality of wood is extremely good and also very consistent (across 8 cartons no less) - not a SINGLE bad or broken piece either out of the box or during installation; (2) assembly could not possibly be easier (all the instructions are on a single 8.5x11 page, there are only about 5 steps to put the whole thing together (time to assemble and mount to wall 8 racks = 10 hours); (3) these racks are VERY sturdy when assembled, especially when you interconnect. None of the things that I worried could go wrong went wrong - the wood was consistent and perfect and didn't break, the job was easy and the end product is very practical and very attractive. I am SO glad I read all the reviews and particularly, that I read the reviews on some of the more "custom" and more expensive racks here and settled with this one because I experienced none of the problems widely reported with the other racking systems. If I can offer any tips: (1) the racking shelves are to be inserted FROM THE TOP using the grooves to guide them down from top to bottom, not snapped in diagonally which is POSSIBLE but could break the wood (I point this out because if there is any part of the written instructions which is not clear, this is it); (2) definitely see other reviews re. combining multiple racks, the dimensions will be different because you use one middle upright for the rack both on the left and right; what that other review doesn't say is that you can ALSO play with the ends, using either the inner or outer threading holes to achieve slight variations in width from 32-35" (compressing down to 32" will get rid of one row of capacity) - this was helpful to me for purposes of "fine tuning" to my cellar's dimensions. Final remark, I choked up on the shipping ($480 for 8 racks) - but honestly, these are HUGE (three large carttons per rack) and probably that is what they spent. At least it came promptly! Great product - I am extremely happy and highly recommend.
