We are "beginner" wine collectors, and I can't think of any better rack to start your collecting with. It's design suits your own needs & tastes. And because of that it can fit just about anywhere. Plus, it allows itself to be added to.

These racks are a reasonable low-cost alternative to more expensive racks if you don't really care about appearance and are willing to spend some time and effort putting them together. You have to drive the connecting pegs into each of the wooden supports and align them properly. That allows you to configure the racks in a lot of different shapes, but takes a while (and a couple of the supports split in the process.) They are inexpensive and flexible, but not elegant or finely manufactured.

I stained them peacan, they look great.

I would not recommend this product at all. It is much too frustrating to assemble and it is not aligned properly.

I created wine storage inside of an antique chest and it works fine. Assembly was fairly easy. It's fairly sturdy, but I might add some wood glue to joints for safety. I put 5 sets together, but there weren't enough connector pins given. They should put in extras to allow connections of units. I ended up about 21 short and had to go to a hardware store to get a dowel rods that I sawed into smaller pieces.

I needed a wine rack for a small space in my dining room, and I was able to put this product together to fit the space perfectly. The finish is attractive and matched my furniture. I needed a hammer to put it together, but it wasn't difficut.
