I am a contractor and I am very familiar with building products and I had several issues with the racks. First and foremost, the stain has no polyurethane applied on top. Secondly, the fasteners were mostly silver in color which looked terrible. I had to cover the heads with a furniture pencil (not included) to make it look presentable in the restaurant application that I was using it for. The trim boards were short and left a gap at the top when the two units were butted together. The clips that came with the product were extremely inadequate for the weight of the wine. The specs indicate that the rack is 32 3/16". We constructed a wall to accomodate 3 racks with a 1/2" gap for adjusting. The racks are 33". We had to disassemble one unit and cut from both sides to fit. Also, the packaging for the sides and bottom are in a separate box. Packaging couldn't be designed any worse. Two busted bottoms that we had to glue and clamp. We have the dark finish, it is stained but NOT sealed. Any sheet rock dust or construction dust will stick to the rack and is almost impossible to clean without sealing. Other than these issues the finish product is attractive and reasonbly priced. Hint: the racks are gorgeous if you install a finished plywood behind them.

Fits what I intended at a reasonable price. Easy to assemble and sturdy.
