Designer Wine Rack Kit - Double Deep Wood Case w / Table Top (Redwood Natural)

I intended to use this as a freestanding island inside the wine cellar. However, as delivered and assembled, it is shaky unless attached to a wall or recessed into cabinetry. I solved this problem by adding diagonal cross braces of 3/4"w galvanized steel strip on the back and sides. I painted the straps a burnt red and the unit is very sturdy and looks great. I added a base with wheels and now we can adjust the position even with six cases of wine on board.

I've never been a fan of bulk wine storage because I've always thought of it as a very un-stylish option for a wine cellar until I was introduced to this product. The durable material is really something to write home about, especially when we're talking storing as much as 72 wine bottles. The very simple yet solid structure makes this rack really easy to assemble and find a place for it in any wine cellar.
