Vacu Vin Rapid Ice Instant Wine Chiller (White Grapes)

The 5-minute goal for chilling wine to a drinking temperature is optimistic in my view. We still have better results setting a bottle in our refrigerator's automatic ice bin for the same amount of time. However, if we're entertaining in another room, it is handy to instead bring a bottle wrapped in the chiller.

My mother-in-law loves her wine so this was a perfect gift and she has very much enjoyed it!

We have other chillers: terra cotta,ceramic. However they take up too much room in the freezer and we forget to prechill them. These are compact and kept in the freezer. We now give them as gifts with a bottle of wine.

works ok for chilling a bottle of wine, but best for keeping a bottle of chilled winer cold when you are outside. we use it when sailing, just keep in the ice chest or freezer, and then put an opened bottle of wine in while you enjopy the day

The product image makes it look like hammered metal, but it's just a plastic/foil type material that collapses for use in the freezer. Does what we wanted it to do, but not quite the look we thought.

We already owned this product, but when entertaining and enjoying more than one bottle of wine, it is nice to have additional coolers in the freezer.

A friend brought over a chilled rose on a hot summer night, and I tried to steal her VaciVin. I ordered 8 (2 for me, 2 for stocking stuffers for mom and sister, 4 for little gifts this fall/last minute holiday). I have already given away 3, used 2 for myself, and sliced 1 as an ice pack for an ankle injury (not a recommended use. But in an emergency...just don't cut the ice cells, which anyone should know). I will now order some more as replacements and a few of the champagne bottle size. This is not the most exciting gift to open, but it is really useful, and if you put it on a nice wine, it's even better. A great gift!

Actually thought product was a hard exterior surface, but it's not... it's just a big coozie for a bottle of wine.

we love to entertain outdoors and these are great for that. they also make super gifts for your guests. we just need one to fit the 1.5 liter bottles.

Works great to keep our wine cool while we boat around the lake

It is not as sturdy a product as you would expect but it actually works very well. You can keep it in your freezer at all times so it is always ready. It takes up very little space when folded flat. The only negative is that it is difficult to grasp the wine bottle with it on, so you must remove the bottle each time you pour it.

Home and eating out

Chills a warm bottle of wine or water, even a can of soda in no time at all. Now we keep one in the freezer all the time. Wonderful idea. Couldn't be simpler!
