My wife bought me this for a birthday present. I have a pump by hand vin vac, but thought this would be nice and that it would do a better job. It didnt work at all. The stoppers dont seal well and the pump isnt nearly powerful enough to create any reasonable vacuum. My hand unit works much better…

Center plastic air stopper falls out. It also broke into two pieces when it hit the floor. I had to glue it back together. Difficult to reinstall back into center of stopper.

The user instructions should tell you to only use a light steady pressure on the stopper with the electric wine preserver. If you use to much pressure it will not pull the air out and create a vacumm seal and the wine will leak out if the bottle is stored on its side. Neither of these results are…
