They are terrific to use for everyday ... I don't have concerns that I will break stems when cleaning. However Riedel glasses are a bit easier to break for me than some others, perhaps because what gives them a very clean line is thin glass.

This makes a nice 'rocks' glass for mixed drinks. I use it more for that than wine, as I use my traditional stemmed glasses for wine typically. Comfortable, stylish, nice size. A little pricey and a little fragile. Need to be delicate with it.

These are good, everyday glasses at an affordable price. We bought 2 sets to replace the more attractive, but less durable Riedel Tyrol glasses. Be careful washing these - they're slippery and hard to hold onto without a stem.

Given the practicality of this glass -doesn't shatter easily like finest stemmed Sommelier glasses, is dishwasher safe, folds nicely in one's hand - & how delicious the wine tastes, I feel our other red wine glasses are redundant. (Same true for compannion white wine glasses)
