Vintage Oak Hanging Wine Glass Rack

The metal chain provided is totally out of context with the quality and look of the rack. Had to buy bronze chain and replace to make a polished finished product. Chain provided looks like something I'd use in my garage!

I recommend hanging with 4 pieces of chain, one from each corner for better stability...and painting the chain flat black or buying different chain.

The stain on the interior wood slats was uneven and not very attractive. I sent it back because of that and the fact it was fractured on the spine.

Rack was very nice, but the shipping charge was ridiculous!

Delivery was well timed. Product is well made and looks good. The little silver chain looks cheezy, I replaced it with a larger link black chain. Black and Bronze chain along with black, white, and gold ceiling hooks should be an option. A paper templement would make it easier to secure proper holes in the ceiling for ease of installation. I added grape vines and grapes to dress it up. Looks Vintage.

I gave it a 5-star rating notwithstanding that the chain is cheap looking and should be replaced. I did so because the wood is so beautiful and the piece is so well constructed. I replaced the chain with large, sturdy chain that I spray painted antique bronze. It really gives the piece the old look that I was going for. By the way, even though I had read that the openings are too small to accommodate Riedel red wine stemware, I found that with a slight tilt of the glass it is possible to fit all Riedel stemware into the rack.

Bought for my wine bar. Only accomodates our white Riedel glasses as the holes in the rack are too small to accept the red glasses.

The rack had a "recently varnished" newly made smell that was very strong. It was otherwise very nice, and exactly as pictured on line. If you don't like the silver-colored chains, I suggest you spray paint them matte black.

Rack looks great, but silver chain had to be spray painted dark brown to blend. Due to the space I had to hang it, it was nice to be able to split the chains and use them as a 4 point hanger instead of just a 2 point.

If you have large based stemware, ie. Riedel, they will not fit in this rack.

The rack itself had a nice finish and looks great once a few upgrades are done. The chain that was sent was horrible and cheap and there were no hooks with the purchase so we had to purchase our own. If you get this, go to[@] and buy smaller black chain with 4 decorative hooks. Once we did this the rack looked amazing. For the price I would think they should make this upgrade to the product. Until then, just go to a local hardware store.

We love the beautiful contours and color of this rack. I checked the reviews before we bought and some thought the chains looked cheap and flimsy. The chains that came with ours however are fine. The links are smaller than I expected but they are still very sturdy and hold well. We actually like it that the links are on the small side because the chains aren't as noticeable.
