I purchased a 1 liter as a gift for my husband and was very disappointed by the actual size. I purchased a 3 liter barrel thinking it would be a lot larger and was very disappointed in the actual size. I would not recommend this product.

This product was a good idea but the execution is lacking. This product is extremely small and much smaller than you think or that is depicted in the photo. Because other reviews said the 1 liter was small, I purchased the 2 liter thinking it would be noticeably larger but it is still really small. Although the barrel seems well made, it is not attractively finished. I don't plan on putting liquid into it and that's a good thing since it doesn't seem like it would work well. The stopper is cheaply made and in my opinion not really functional. As with other reviews, the stand is an embarrassment and substandard and doesn't match the wood or finish of the barrel. Definitely not worth the [$] spent. If you saw this item in a store or winery I would have definitely not purchased it.
