Vintage Oak Bistro Table & Bar Stools with Leather Seats

I loved this piece of furniture in the catalog and finally got around to ordering it. The table and stools look very nice with a good finish on the barrel wood and aged metal. The table and stools are solid and well made. It is a great conversation piece.I do have two negatives. First, the table top is not flat and is warped. I guess this is what happens with wood from old barrels and some may say it adds character but I hope it doesn't get worse as the wood dries. Second, there are some lines on the leather stool seats. These aren't minor imperfections that might add character to the leather, rather they are straight lines. Not sure what caused them. While a quality product, it doesn't seem to be of the highest quality.Also note that the table ships assembled and with a 48 inch diameter table top, it can be difficult to actually get into your home. We had to bring it in the back sliding doors and had to take the doors off to get it in the house.In summary, it is a nice piece but was not worth the [$]. After having the set in my house for a few months, I wouldn't order it again.
