Wine Cork Trivet Kit (Maple)

I made both trivets and my son helped! Looks great - nice quality wood, and I use it at dinner almost every night.

We have 3 trivets and a bulletin board! Love them, and the trivets make great gifts!

The instructions were written by someone that has never assembled a unit. The proportions and sizing are wrong for corks which then have to be modified to fit. If an engineer has to struggle with it I bet it no fun for the less than mechanically inclined.

I am not the most craft-oriented person but wanted to make this trivet to showcase my love of wine. I haven't gotten around to finishing it, but so far, it looks great and is quite a conversation piece.

great item and easy to assemble

I give these to friends for presents. They love them like I do.

I give them as gifts with wine corks in them that are sentimental (my sister has one that has her wedding corks in; my son has one that has Maynard's, from Tool corks in it).

Second piece I've done - both are being used and look good doing it.

I collect my corks and make these trivets to give as Christmas presents. As I add new friends into my fold, I give them one for Christmas.

Started filling in corks--too much pressure and they pop out, but too little and they roll around and will fall out. It doesn't say in directions, but we will have to glue in the corks to keep them stable to actually be able to use as a trivet. Very cool idea, though. Lots of memories in those corks!

availability took a long time. also, no instructions or glue was included. looks well made. hope to use as gifts. would be good if complete kit could be ordered as an option.

My only complaint is that it did not come with instructions on how to put together, what type of glue to buy. I bought the wine trivet maker.

It's a unique gift.
