Large Wine Cork Board Kit (Maple)

I have the cork board with dry erase hanging in my kitchen and the plain cork board in my home offce. They are both wonderful.

This product is great. It is sturdy and hangs easily. A bit tricky to get the last few corks to fit in, but that is part of the fun!

What makes it so much fun to assemble is that you must drink large amounts of wine to supply a sufficient number to corks.

Fun to put together. Very practical use of old corks. Allow for plenty of time to assemble with glue

There wasn't enough glue to finish the board. I would like to see more selections of the wood colors offered. A fun project!

The toughest part about putting the kit together is cutting the corks to fit. I used a Dremel tool with a small saw bit. There is not enough gluepaste to complete the project. It is a great use for all the corks one gathers.

Still working on this. Didn't have enough corks. Colored synthetic corks don't look good. Hard to fit short/long/skinny/fat corks in perfectly. It's like doing a long puzzle. Of course drinking wine while you do this helps :-)

I purchased four of these since I have collected about 3000 corks for the last 30 years, and had no idea what to do with them until I saw this in your catalog. [...] came with everything needed, except not enough glue.I sent all four to my daughters for Xmas. Everyone that has seen them wants one! To do a big board right; will take about 4 hrs. to do.

The board was difficult to assemble using the glue supplied in the kit....too little supplied...if I chose to continue using it. A hot glue gun was much more efficient. I did like the final product...although it did not look as professional as the picture on the box.

We are only using natural cork on this item and a lot of the wines we drink use artificial corks. (There's a connection there somewhere) Anyway, we thought we had saved a lot of corks but it appears we need to concentrate a lot more on buying (and drinking) wines with natural cork. Dang, more trips to Michigan Wine country - I HATE when that happens.

We really enjoyed adding all the corks we saved to make this bulletin board-need to get another kit for this year's corks!
