The product was shipped with doors locked and keys inside. I called customer support and was promised spare keys would be delivered overnight to me. However, I did not recieve those keys until one week later. The product itself has an attractive design. Quite loud when it's operating, and seems like it's always pumping. Temperature fluctuation range is kind of wide.

Very nice looking unit Reviews are correct though, a little louder than I would have expected. The temp changes ~5 degrees, which is a lot more than I would like. It seems as though the compressor goes on/off every 20 minutes. Interested to see the electric bill this month. I don't understand why the temp has to be different from top to bottom shelf. They arrange it where you should place whites on the top shelf and reds on the bottom. The design does not really allow for this however. Best looking unit I have seen but from a practical standpoint I am not sure I would buy it again. Next time will opt for a more quiet unit. If the unit was not as attarctive, def not. That is what sold me.

Works well but has some limitations

I first bought the similar, less expensive units from [...] but had to return them because they didn't cool, wouldn't go below 58F in my 63F basement. These ones direct from WE are a little more attractive with stainless steel fronts and actual door handles (the [...] versions didn't have exterior handles, just finger indents on the sides of the doors). These do cool accurately as long as both sections are the same temperature or the top section is cooler than the bottom. They will not cool if I try to make the bottom section the colder, as in white. The bottom does not get cold enough and the top winds up being colder than I want. I'm willing to live with this limitation even though I originally wanted the bottom of one for whites. Now I have the whites on top at 43 and the bottom at 55 in one cooler and both sections at 55 in the second. The temps seem to stay within a couple of degrees consistently. They're a little noisier than I would want in a kitchen area but not terribly bad. I have mine in a basement bar so don't notice any extra noise really.

Love my Wine Fridge!!!

I really DO love this Wine Fridge. The only disappointment is that the temperature doesn't stay in the zone it should. Overall though, I love it and think the precise temp doesn't really matter all that much. It stays cold enough to preserve the wine and it looks fabulous! It is the perfect size for someone with little space, but still wants to keep a palate of flavors to enjoy. I still have an "overflow" of wine in my rack, but it is nice to be able to move the wines as needed. Overall, I would totally recommend this one!

This rating page was way too off....If you really want comments just ask and leave space.....This is the second refrig..the first only worked for 2 weeks.....the door was very difficult to switch and some spray insulation was in the way...and there is no way to get 50 bottles in without stacking....also the top temp zone has 6 to 8 degree variations which seems much......Since I was building it in...I have to go with it for now.....I am not sure if knowing all this I would do it again.

Very beautiful product, inside and out

4.0

Pros

  • Soft gliding shelving
  • Precise Temperature

  • Dimensions are accuate

Cons

  • Blue light a little small
  • A little noisy
  • Can Not Adjust Shelving

Best Uses

  • Built in under cabinet
  • Residential use
  • Kitchen

The fridge is a wonderful buy for the price. I was a little dissappointed at the noise it generates when the compressor turns on and off. We have our unit built in and it seems noisy. It's louder than any other new appliance in our kitchen. But, overall we are very happy with the product and would buy again.

Limited storage in this cooler

3.0

Pros

  • Price

Cons

  • Too Small

Best Uses

I purchased this cooler due to the attractive design and price. But, it simply does not function as advertised. As others have commented, it is loud and will not hold dual temperatures. The biggest problem is it WILL NOT hold 50 bottles. Shelves are designed for 8 bottles with 14 on the top two shelves. 90% of the bottles will only fit 4-6 bottles per shelf. Shelves are not adjustable, the storage configuration is not adjustable, and you are stuck with what you get. Would suggest spending more and getting a functional cooler.

Very nice looking but also very loud. I would suggest for an under counter installation. Somewhat disappointed that the temperature doesn't seem to stay constant but spikes around a +/-6 degree variance on a regular basis.

- Well priced for an under cabinet model with wooden shelves - The unit is fairly quiet, a bit louder than my fidge (which is new), but the wine cellar runs alot more than the frdige does. - The unit seems to be fairly energy effcient. - The temp fluctuates more than I thought it would while the door is closed but the temp doesn't change by more than about 5 degrees - The unit has started making a clicking noise after about a month when it runs but the performance did not appear to change. - You cannot fit 50 bottles in this unit, the most I was able to fit was about 35-40. You have to place the bottles "head to tail" to get that many in and usually end up mixing varietals rending the dual temp zone feature useless and just for show. - All in all I would probably buy this unit again if I had to get another one

Bought the first one and the motor blew out in less than three months. It literally had the wine cooking at 85 degrees. W.E. was very good about replacing it for no cost to us. Second unit - can't get temperature of whites on top below 52, despite setting at 41. Very frustrated with performance and temperature settings. Tech support told us to add more bottles or take the back off...

It holds different sized bottles - that's great. But, it makes a lot of noise, so I would not recommend it for a quiet room. If you don't care about the noise, it's a good unit.

Convenient but loud

Cons

This is a very attractive unit that is very good for keeping still white and sparkling wines at serving temperatures (just turn both zones down as low as they will go). I don't use it, and wouldn't recommend it, for long term storage of fine wines. The biggest disadvantage of this product is that it is loud, louder than a big refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Wish it weren't so, because otherwise I like it, but at this price it should have been quieter.

For the price, this is a very nice under-counter wine cellar. We've had it installed for about 2 months now. I love the design. And it appears to be keeping our high-end wines at the right temperature. The only downside (which I didn't expect) is it is extremely loud. Louder than our refridgerator. Louder than the dishwasher when it's running. Thank goodness it's in our kitchen and not closer to our living or dining room. I recommend it based on price, design and usefulness. But if you don't want to hear your wine cellar kick on every half hour, you may wish to spend a bit more for one that's quieter.

It's Not a Eurocave

4.0

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Quiet

Cons

  • Inaccurate Temperature

Best Uses

  • Dining Room
  • Kitchen

I bought this for our dining room. (We also have a large Eurocave to store the bulk of our wine collection.) It replaced a small wine cooler with non-adjustable metal shelving that was ripping the labels off our wine bottles. This is better than that .... but it's definitely not a Eurocave. The shelves only roll out about half way, so it's difficult to see or get to the bottles in the back. It holds a constant temperature, BUT it's NOT the temperature at which it is set. The blue lights are pretty but not very useful --- they don't give much real light at all. It's OK for the price (about half the price of a Eurocave of this size). I guess the bottom line is that my Eurocave has really spoiled me, so it's hard to get too excited about N'Finity.
