I am a first time buyer of a wine refrigerator. After reviewing many...many different brands; models, etc I chose this one. I also took in to consideration the negative reviews that were provided, however, I have to stay that this is a great refrigerator and I cannot believe that it is so quiet (silent). It has maintained the temperature (top is set colder than bottom). I also purchased a scratch/dent version and it's perfect - can't find the scratch and/or dent. The only issue is that the interior blue light works in the top section (looks very cool at night), however the bottom section light does not work. In all honesty it doesn't bother me as just having the top illuminated is enough. So far I love the product now I just need to see how it is running after a few months.

Great wine refrigerator for our dining room. I love the 2-door design that keeps whites and reds separate. We live in a warm climate, so the cooler whites aren't quite as chilled now that we approach summer, but should do better in the fall and winter. Great styling for the price.

We purchased this cellar from [@] to replace a 130 bottle unit we have. The larger unit was quite loud and we really didn't need the "capacity".We love that this one is so quiet and small...fits almost anywhere, yet it holds a decent stock of wine. We generally only have reds so we have the temp set at 59 degrees F on both the top and bottom. It holds the temperature well and unless we put our ears to the back we can hardly hear it running. It doesn't seem to cycle that often so as compared to our much larger unit, it's saving us a good deal of money on electricity. We've had the unit for about six months now and it has been flawless.

This a good in home product. Quiet. attractive with enough capacity for the casual taster-or start up enthusiast. Does not take up much space and while the temperature may not be exact, it is certainly close enough--very good value for the money.

The first one wasn't functional and was returned. The second has difficulty but now seems to hold temperature. It works nicely under the bar where we keep a variety of selections for immediate use.

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Quiet

Cons

  • Wide temperature swing

Best Uses

Much better than the Cusinart that I previously owned (of which I replaced at one a year due to failure). One thing that I noticed is the wide temperature swing. It was set at 47 degrees and went as warm as 55 degrees before cooling back down. I hope that this is not an indication of an imminent failure.
