What I Needed

4.0

Pros

  • Energy Efficient
  • Adjustable Shelving

Cons

  • No Temp Diff 12 degrees

Best Uses

There is some noise, but I got used to it quickly. You have to remove a shelf for champagne size bottles. The temp settings do not allow for more than a 12 degree difference between the zones. I needed additional storage space and this did fit my needs.

Exactly what I expected

4.0

Pros

  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Can Not Adjust Shelving
  • Too Small

Best Uses

  • Basement storage

I use this as a single temperature unit (for red wines) in the basement and am absolutely satisfied. Summers in Illinois can be very hot so it's important to me that the unit keeps my wine at a constant temperature. I installed the cellar far enough away from the entertainment area so I have never noticed a sound from it. The only negative I found is the advertised 170 bottle capacity. Another reviewer noted that the estimate was based on a specific sized bottle, and I found that to be the case (120 capacity max). However, I still wouldn't trade it and thoroughly enjoy the style of the unit. My neighbors are jealous!

Works great

5.0

Pros

  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Pinot Noir Bottles Ughh
  • Loud

Best Uses

  • Finished basement storage

Gave it 5 stars as it is an excellent wine fridge for the price. Do I think it is as good as a eurocave, no. Bought two of these. So far, is exactly what we wanted and needed. Based on previous reviews, we knew it would be a little loud and pinot noir (my wife's favorite) are very hard to fit. With that said, units temp flucuates a few degrees, but nothing major. Sound when unit is running is a loud humm but not too bad. We got these units for our finished basement so sound does not bother us. It looks great and we have got almost 300 bottles in the two fridges. With the cons being noise and pinot bottles, we can live with that for the look and the price!

Great cellar but loud

4.0

Pros

  • Sleek design
  • Attractive Design
  • Attractive shelving

Cons

  • Loud
  • Can Not Adjust Shelving

Best Uses

  • hallway

Previous reviews seemed to be mixed as to how loud the cellar was, but we have found it to be quite loud. Fortunately, we built the cellar into a closet in a hallway away from all conversation areas. Definitely plan on removing shelves for Magnums, sparkling wines, or other larger format bottles. We also found to be reversing the door to be difficult. Otherwise, absolutely love the cellar!

5.0

Pros

  • Save the wine room cost
  • Attractive Design
  • Nice Looking holds a lot
  • Adjustable Shelving

Cons

Best Uses

i was going to build a small room in my finished basement, but the estimated cost of that, plus shelving, alone came to more than the two units I bought to stand side by side, and even then the room temperature would have been too warm. The two units I bought are the perfect answer, and so far I really like them.

Very quiet. Holding all my bottles even the larger ones. Yes, they do not fit on all shelves but because there are shelves that do accommodate I did not have a problem arranging accordingly.

Good value product.

4.0

Pros

  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • Loud

Best Uses

  • Utility Room Storage

We've only operated this product for about a week, but it is attractive and appears to be working very well. Temperature maintenance is consistent. Racks are nice, even for Pinot Noir and Syrah style bottles. Reversing door to a right hand open was fairly difficult. Even so, overall, we are thus far satisfied that we got a good value with this product.
