Great price for a very solid refridgerator; like the ability to lock it; like its styling; easy to assemble.

We like this product, but like many other reviewers we have found that this item should NOT be advertised as holding 28 bottles. Yes, I realize that it will hold 28 traditional Bordeaux bottles, but no one on the planet is going to only have that bottle size in their collection! In short, it is a 20 bottle wine refrigerator, and for now that will suffice for us. P.S. Does a beautiful job of cooling wine to 54 degrees.

After reading many reviews this is the one we picked and couldn't be happier. One of the key features for us was the lock, we have a toddler that loves opening doors and I could just see her pulling bottles out and smashing them on the floor, not now! Looks great in our kitchen with the stainless steel trim, super quiet, once it got down to operating temp I couldn't hear a thing. We only needed a 12-18 bottle refrigerator but after reading reviews I realized you may have to pull a shelf to fit big bottles. So this 28 capacity one is perfect, only needed to move one shelf so we can still fit 24 bottles.

There is no way you can have 28 bottles in this unit. Vendor should come clean and admit that. My unit came with poorly installed handle which I have to fix and one of the hooks for shelves was broken. Still, on the positive side it is consistent in terms of temperature and is a quiet unit.

This is fine for basic home storage of regular or Bordeaux-style bottles. It does not work at all for thicker Burgundy-style bottles without removing a whole shelf and reducing storage capacity by 4 bottles with each shelf removed. Taller bottles will only fit sideways on the bottom, so no more than 3-4 btls. Overall, really limiting and I would not have bought it if I had known what I know now. Buyer beware.

There are enough wines that come in larger bottles, why can't they make the fridge the extra inch or two larger that would make us all happy? If you take shelves out then you are really wasting space.

Good value for what this is, quiet storage for about 20 plus bottles. The shelving and locking mechanism work, but are rather low quality. All and all good small storage for the price.

The primary reason I bought this particular refrigerator was its dimensions -- it could fit under a desk/table height counter -- and it's just the right size. Many customers have been critical of the tight fit to hold 28 bottles, while it is tight it does hold 28 bordeaux sized bottles. It seems to hold the temperature well and it is completely quiet. The unit is attractive and so far I've been very happy with it.

I was looking for a decently priced mini fridge for wine storage in a closet. I began to realize that for a little more money, I could get a good quality wine cooler. This was by far the best option for the money.

This is a nice little unit for an apartment or condo. Attractive and very quiet, so you can put it most anywhere. All that and good value. [...] I would buy this item again.

The catalog does not mention this is only for certain reds. I had hoped to keep a variety of older wines in this. You should make it clear in you ads. Is is not silent, either. Charles White, MD San Diego, CA

SO FAR ITS GREAT. IT IS VERY QUIET AND HOLDING TEMPERTURE(IT IS FULL). SHELVES ARE NOT EASY TO PULL OUT - ESPECIALLY WITH RHONE TYPE/PINOT BOTTLES-BUT THEY TELL YOU THAT. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE SMALLER UNITS IS NOT GOOD. HOW LONG THEY LAST WILL TELL HOW GOOD THEY ARE. OUT OF FIVE VINOTEMPS WE BOUGHT AT [...], ALL FIVE ARE DEAD AFTER 1.5 YEARS - AND A FEW SHOCKED FOLKS SO I HOPE THIS ONE IS BETTER.
