Wine Enthusiast Silent 12 Bottle Wine Refrigerator (Stainless Steel Trim Door)

This was a gift for my dad for his birthday. He needs to be more heart healthy and his dr recommends a few ounces of wine per night. This is handy because it sits right on the counter making it very convenient. It makes their kitchen look more elegant and it's a great conversation piece for friends. Very pleased with this item.

I was shocked to find that this refrigerator accommodated only one of 12 bottles I tried. It was sold to me under false pretenses. Nowhere was any mention made of bottle size in the promotion material. Had there been, I would have purchased a different product. It's unlikely that I will do any business in the future with Wine Enthusiast.

This purchase was long overdue

Fit perfectly on the kitchen counter of a condo

I have this wine fridge in my kitchen, it fits perfectly on my counter underneath the cabinet. It's very quiet, and looks attractive. It fits regular size bottles well, but if you have a large pinot noir bottle, or a long shiraz, it's a little more difficult, but you can maneuver things around. I ended up taking out the bottom rack, and that seems to work fine.

Quiet and does the trick!

I took a chance on this unit even though some reviews were negative. I spoke to a Customer Service agent about the negative reviews before I ordered it. He assured me that I would not have a problem if I set it up according to the directions - put at least 2 inches between the unit and the wall and do not keep it in direct sunlight. So far the unit works well - it is really silent and holds the temperature. I do not notice when it runs and the agent was right - if the room where it is housed is average room temperature, the unit does not need to run often. It holds standard sized wine bottles. That is what I have in the unit but the bottles still do not fit perfectly in the shelves together when it is full. If I pull out a shelf to look at the bottles, the next shelf usually starts to come out with it. I do not find this to be problematic but I have to be careful when moving the bottles/shelves. I would recommend this unit to a friend and think it is a good value.

I have it in my office and whenever I have a customer for a visit, I can reach easily a bottle of wine to share.

shelves won't come out unless the door is at maximum opening. otherwise it keeps the wine at about 57 degrees.

So far so good. It chills to the right temperature and it fits on the counter well. Not too loud.

The shelves do not slide out easily, rhone bottles are a struggle to fit. Overall size is perfect for a kitchen counter, and it looks nice enough. No one who designed this actually tried it out before selling it!

Now I don't have to go in the refrig in the gargage to get the white wine. I have this displayed on the counter in the butlers pantry. It looks great and my guests can help themselves.

this is a must-have for wine drinkers in phoenix arizona. we keep our room temperature at around 80 degrees in the summer (outdoor temps are around 110). this fridge makes the wine perfect. the only drawback is that the bottles are pretty tightly spaced, meaning that getting the bottles in and out requires a little maneuvering.

What a pile of junk! Absolutely minimal room to try and fit a bottle into the flimsy racks. Standard bottles require you pull out the rack and gingerly arrange the bottle on the shelf. Cross your fingers and hope you can slide it back into the fridge. Good luck with a full shelf. On the positive side, the exterior design is attractive. Wish I had more positive comments to add. It arrived today and is getting returned tomorrow.

Bought because it appeared to be a good value for convenient kitchen storage. Temperature fluctuates wildly, and the unit is more noisy than my frig. Only the dishwasher is (a little) noisier.It runs non-stop. Replacement requested, but has been on back order for months. Would not consider again or recommend.
