Cons

  • Temp barely cold enough

- Temperature to store wines is supposed to be 54-58 degrees. The device's manual says it can do 54-60-something (plus or minus 7 degrees!!!!). We left it on the lowest setting and it got down to 57 or so, which we're happy enough with. - It runs quietly, but does seem to always be working. Had it for 3 weeks, don't know how much energy it is using yet. But if you have to store your wine, you gotta do something anyway.

This product performs as advertised. Storage handles different sized bottles relatively easily. It keeps a constant temperature and runs quietly. Looks attractive with unique design and overall quality matches the cost--good value for money. Temperature does not go below 54 degrees but that is communicated clearly.

Cons

  • Glass allows light in

Works very well, especially if set the temp for the coldest setting. It keeps a very steady temperature. My only worry is the large glass show door allowing too much light in (i.e. not dark enough, especially for bottles you standing in the door). Otherwise works exactly as stated in catalogue.

I am a beginner wine collector, who is starting to look into great wines that need a few years. I needed more controlled storage for these bottles and decided I would try this one, mainly for the price. I am actually able to fit 35 bottles in here, albeit some require some care when putting them in, but the front 4 bottles that are displayed upright is perfect for wider pinot noirs or similar bottles. you cannot store magnum or larger format bottles in this one. but all in all, i have had this unit for 2 months, and it is indeed super quiet and has kept very good temperature. the design is a little bulky, but not too bad, at the moment i have it my second bedroom, and while its not the sleekest looking thing, i am very happy to protect my collection for a very reasonable price.

Pros

Cons

  • Damages Labels

Best Uses

Great little fridge with a nice design, good lighting and temperature control. Only issue (which they do disclose) is with Rhone/Burgundy bottles which do not fit as nicely as standard shaped bottle and as such there can be some scraping against the labels. Otherwise - holds the temperature in the 54-57 range very consistently.

We have been using this unit since Christmas. Wine is chilled perfectly for me. I don't buy $100 bottles of wine so I don't have a problem. Door storage is a great plus but, if the bottles are heavy the door tends to rub on the bottom. I keep my Irish Cream in the door as this also needs to be kept chilled. The lights are great and very impressive making a great presentation. AND, it does not produce a lot of heat from the back making it easy to place it against a wall. I would recommend this cooler to anyone who likes wine without being a snob about it.

Pros

  • Sturdy
  • Holds Bottles Securely
  • Easy To Assemble
  • Good Capacity
  • Attractive Design

Cons

  • No door lock
  • Could chill more

Best Uses

  • Secondary Wine Storage
  • Wine Cellar Storage

Primary use is to keep my wines chilled. I like my wines chilled a little more so I place them in my other refrigerator prior to drinking. Standing room on door is ideal for larger bottles (greater than 750ml) and opened bottles. Unit is quiet most of the time except when temperature rises too much then it is noisy. I keep unit in my basement.
