EuroCave SoWine Home Wine Bar (Silver Trim Door)

I gave this as a gift to my sister and brother-in-law. They rave about it. The longest they have let wine be in there between drinking is 5 days and they say that absolutely, the wine was as if it had just been opened.

My husband and I enjoy a glass of wine with our meal. With just the two of us, we often have wine left over in the bottle that we just opened. This product keeps the opened bottle for quite a few days and the last glass is as good as the first glass we had days before.

It really works well. Wine tastes great even days later. Looks nice in the kitchen. We get to enjoy wine more because we never wanted to waste a fancy bottle for a couple of glasses worth. Now we can have some whenever we want.

Getting the plunger lined up is a little awkward. Only tall bottles work well without adding something to lift the bottle. Keeps red wines at a good temp, haven't tried white yet. Overall, not the quality we expected for the price.

Three step operation makes this machine easy to use even for those of us who find mechanical tasks difficult. This machine does a great job of preserving the nuances of flavor in the wine for a couple of days. The temperature is always perfect. At last, we can uncork a good bottle of red without feeling like we have to drink the whole thing. We love it!

This product is very simple to use. The only thing we would like to see is a temperature control on each side. You can switch between white or red wine temperature. But the white wine temperature is a little warmer than we like to drink it.

We bought this in conjunction with a one-temp EuroCave wine cellar. This product allows us to bring both reds and whites to the proper serving temperature when we're entertaining. Its also great for regular home use to keep an open bottle preserved for a longer period of time than our regular bottle stopper.

Been using the wine bar for about one month. I am very happy with the preservation of the wines, better than my previous methods (manual vacuum, inert gas in a canister). As I am the only wine drinker in the household my bottles tend to last about 3-4 days, and the system works well to preserve the wines over that period. My only deduction is for price, but it is a very good quality product.

This is a must have. After 3 months of use, it is a plesure to have. Removes the air from the bottle and keeps it at the right temperature. You will not be disappointed. Takes a special plug in so be prepared for that.

I just bought this for my husband for Xmas, so we haven't had it very long. Just a day. But so far it works and we really like it. When we open a bottle of wine we put the cork back in the bottle and leave it on the cooler, now we can keep it in the EuroCave, it stays cool and fresh. Ready to serve again. If your hesitant, don't be, give it a try!

Easy to use Needs on off switch

The SoWine keeps whites in the low 50's and reds in the low 60's. The problem that I have had is with condensation. Water collects in the two compartments as well as fogging in the airspace between the two clear plastic door panels. About once a week, I have to remove the wines and then lean the unit forward to drain 1/4 cup of water. This is in an air conditioned, low humidity environment. I am nor sure whether this is a design flaw or just with my particular unit. Despite this, the SoWine is handy and will hold an open bottle of wine for about a week.
