It would be an excellent product, but the engineering is poor. The doors do not seal tightly, allowing moist air in. Puddles form quickly around its base in damp weather. The 12 V power connector is easily knocked loose, deactivating the unit. Also, unlike almost every other power supply, it has male pins which can easily be shorted.

Keeps wine for at least 7 days in nearly the same condition. Great for us because we only drink fairly expensive wine and just a glass at a time.

I have purchased 2 of these, one for myself, and one for a gift. They work really well, and will keep wine up to 2 weeks as advertised. You can also use it as a wine keeper for unopened bottles as well.

Sometimes the product doesn't seal off right away and you need to reposition the bottle so it doesn't continuously have the machine running trying to suck air out of the bottle. Otherwise, it's great!

We enjoy white and red wines in tandem. Best unit to maintain your wines simultaneouly.

works great on both red and whites. I did not think too noisy as some others said. I have left some of my favorite reds in for 3-6 days and they still taste wonderful then. my husband doesn't drink much wine so this is a great wine-saver for us. no more wasting a bottle of wine I couldn't finish in one evening!

A wonderful gift for anyone who loves wine.

We were constantly shifting at least two bottles of open wine between refrigerators to maintain the ideal drinking temperature. This was a perfect solution. Two open bottles can now be preserved at the right temperature and ready to drink. We also store two unopened bottles that are ready to drink at the perfect temperature.

We were very excited to add this to our wine bar this year. We had some trouble getting the bottles to seal. The machine would cycle every 2-3 minutes to draw out the air. But a call to Wine Enthusiast solved our problem. They recommend we wipe the rubber seal with a damp paper towel to remove any grit or oil left over from the manufacturing process. Has worked flawlessly ever since.

Great when it worked! Owned it for 18 months and then it stopped working. Very disappointing in light of the price. [...]

This is exactly what I needed! It workes just as described. It's so nice to be able to enjoy as much or as little as I like. I do have a bit of trouble with screw caps. That's not much of a problem for me though. Buy the Sowine and start enjoying wine at your convenience!

I have tried several other cheaper alternative but none have come close to this product. I HIGHLY recommend.
