This works as advertised. Does a great job of keeping two different wines at different temperatures. The system does a great job of removing air from the bottles. Don't know how much additional life the system adds to the wine as we drink it too quickly.

This wine bar performs two functions. It chills two bottles to serving temperature and does it very well. It also preserves two open bottles. I have left open bottles for more than a week and the wine was as good as the day I opened them. Just one "but": the vacuum chambers can be a little tricky to align; it may take two or three attempts before properly seated. Still, I would buy this product again.

Finally! No more worries about opening a bottle of wine and having to store it after drinking only 1 glass. I store a red and white at all times, and what a pleasure to open a properly chilled bottle, or to store an opened bottle, confident the wine will taste like it did when it was opened several days earlier. I've not noticed any difference in storing bottles that were corked or screw-topped. I've not had the condensation problems others mentioned, but Utah is a very dry state so local climate conditions may be a factor. This is a wonderful product that looks good, too.

Use the SoWine on a daily basis and am impressed with its quality and ease of use. No more putting stoppers in, pumping out the air, and going back and forth from the refrigerator. Can also easily take it outside on the Lanai when entertaining by the pool. Excellent product!

You can chill a bottle of red and white at the same time, and just drink part of the bottle and save the rest for another day.

Easy to use, and works great. A little taller than I anticipated, but still fits. So much better and easier than a pump.

As noted by many others, there are a couple drawbacks to this unit. There is condensation when you store white wine at the white wine temp setting. I doubt there's anything you can do about it, but the thing I don't really like about it is that you have to remove the bottle to really wipe out all the condensation. Removing the bottle means you've broken the vacuum seal and then tried to reseal it so you've hurt the preservation of the bottle. I've also found it to be REALLY picky about how you place the bottle in the unit before you put the plunger down. If you don't get it exactly right, it doesn't create a good seal and will intermittently try to run the vacuum to seal the bottle. If the unit is running like that irregularly, then the preservation of the wine is worse than just corking the bottle, so it's important to try to get it right. I've put tuna cans (low, flat and round) under each side to help raise the bottles higher and that seems to help a lot. On the plus side, it does keep your red wines at a good temp and if you get it to seal well, it seems to preserve the wine better than either a nitrogen/argon spray bottle or a vacuum pump. Overall, some positives, some negatives, a good first try for something like this.

I enjoy a glass of wine after a hard days work at the office; which means that it takes me a few days to finish a bottle. This wine preserver is just what I needed. This unit keeps the wine at the right temperature. No more waiting for my red wine to warm up after taking it out of the fridge. Thought it was a bit pricy at first, but now I know it's well worth the price!

This leaks water onto the counter from condensation. At times it vacuum seals every hour or so. It is a great and easy to use. Keeps the temperature for white and reds perfect. Wish they could take care of the other problems. I would recommend it but with reservations.

This device works as advertised. My wife and I have half a bottle of wine each night. Now the "leftovers" taste as good as the initial glass. Some reviews (and the manual) talk about condensation. We live in a humid (but cool) climate and only once has there been condensation. And then it was only a teaspoon that appeared in the well beneath the bottle and was easily wiped up with a paper towel. Your mileage may vary, but for us, condensation is a non-issue. We remove the capsule completely and carefully place the bottle in a vertical position before activating the vacuum system. With this procedure, we have always gotten a good seal. Once I allowed a small tilt and then a vacuum seal failed to form. Opening the door and bringing bottle back to its full and upright position :) solved the problem. Buy it. You'll use it every day and love the effects on your wine.

This product is horrible. It leaked all over our dining room side table and made weird noises. We returned the defective unit for another one. Unfortunately, the new unit also leaked and the door didnt close tightly which affected the wine's temperature. Not a fan to say the least.

I enjoy a glass of wine a few days a week, and am not willing to settle for mediocre wine. Since my husband rarely drinks, I frequently had to waste half a bottle or more of good quality wine. Tragic. I tried the plunger devices, with minimal succcess. I have stored wine up to 8 days with the Eurocave, with very little deterioration in quality. One downside: it is noisy. I had one bottle with a decorative ridge along the neck, and I think that interfered with the seal. Consequently, the motor ran every 5 minutes or so, which was extremely annoying. I have not had that problem with smooth necked bottles. Overall I think this is well worth the expense.

Bought the stainless one and it never really kept the red wine cool at all. The pressure stopper activated about 6 times in a row before it would stop after putting in a bottle. I sent it back and it was replaced free of charge. The new one works PERFECTLY!

We LOVE this product. We want to buy another one to put in our summer house in Maine. We used to waste so much wine, but now we never have to waste a bottle. Just open an expensive bottle and we can take up to at least a week to drink it!!! We have never waited longer to finish a bottle of wine.
