Couldn't live without it!

4.0

Pros

  • Unbelievably quiet

Cons

  • NONE

Best Uses

  • Dining Room
  • Kitchen

So quiet, I can't hear it 15 ft. away. Perfect for what I need, never having had a good way to store the wine I buy. Usually just had to drink as I bought and now have the opportunity to age and save wine for future consumption with expectation of improvement rather than deterioration.

absolutely great product

5.0

Pros

  • Quiet
  • Adjustable Shelving
  • Precise Temperature
  • Correct humidity range
  • Attractive Design
  • Low vibration

Cons

  • Not cheap

Best Uses

  • Dining Room

It's a very attractive, convenient to use, and well functioning unit. The two lower shelves can keep a big stack of bottles for long-term aging (e.g. I am storing my 2005 and 2008-2009 Bordeaux on these shelves). The removable shelves hold one case each (12 bottles), which is convenient for vintages that you need to access sooner (e.g. 2003 Bordeaux). It is quiet with precise temperature (independently checked the air and bottle temperatures), the right humidity range, and low vibration. It is easy to install and it looks great; a solid product.

A Great Wine Cellar

4.0

Pros

  • Holds oversize bottles
  • Quiet
  • Adjustable Shelving

Cons

Best Uses

  • Anyplace it fits in
  • Dining Room

I've got all my oversize bottles that do not fit into "conventional" slots stored in this cellar. It looks great in our loft area next to a black leather couch. Really quiet too.

Great Cellar - Lousy manual

3.0

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Sturdy
  • Efficient Use of Space

Cons

  • Lousy manual

Best Uses

Nice size. accomplished exactly what I was looking for as I was moving from a house with a wine closet to a condo and needed a place for my 75+ bottles of wine. Manual is lousy as it doesn't go into much detail about how to assemble the shelves (they are not hard to figure out). It would be nice to explain in more detail different configuration shelving. Also literature doesn't tell you that in order to get max number of bottles in the unit you only use about 3 of the 6 shelves so then you need to figure out where to store the rest of the shelves.

Practical, reliable, and well-made unit. Had to adjust one shelf to slide correctly. Easy to do after phone call. Good size for ordinary use and wine storage. Get a larger unit for serious collecting.

Best Uses

Has great capacity given it's size. Can order additional slide out shelving and that gives it good capacity together with ability to easily find and access almost any bottle. It is also very quiet versus some other units I have had.

This is a backup to the eurocave we have in our kitchen. We bought this for extra storage in the basement. Temperature is very consistent so far. Product pamphlet not that well written for adjusting temperature. Overall very happy.

I really can't say anything negative about this cooler, I'm thrilled with it. The shelves adjust easily, it is quiet, and the temperature control is exact. I shopped quite a while before opting for the EuroCave and I am very happy with my decision. The maximum storage is billed at 117 bottles, but while it can hold that much, realistically, for my use it's probably closer to 75 to 100. Also, the people at Wine Enthusiast (Marshall) could not have been more helpful and patient.

Product arrived with faulty tempreature sensor and has yet to power on. New sensor is in the mail. The unit is well built, attractive and just the perfect size for my needs. Can't wait to use it. This is the second EuroCave I have purchased. First unit has worked flawlessly for over 5 years, is very quiet, and a joy to own.

not easy to stack wine

4.0

Pros

  • Quiet
  • Adjustable Shelving

Cons

  • Not enough shelves

Best Uses

  • Bar
  • Storage area

I have to agree the solid door is not very attractive but my unit was destined for the storage area and doesn't have to be pretty. I found it difficult to fit wine in the space without shelves--it doesn't stack very well and then of course you have no idea what is in the stack. I may have to buy more shelves and store fewer bottles.

GREAT CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE, QUIET. CONS: I BOUGHT THE ONE WITH A SOLID DOOR AND ITS UGLY, BUT THE GLASS DOOR TOO EXPENSIVE. I HAD TO TAKE IT OUT TO MY GARAGE, IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD INSIDE OUR HOUSE AND TOO BULKY. OVERALL I LIKE THE PRODUCT.

Unless one owns a specific size bottle, the claim for 100+ bottles is specious. Mind you, anyone who owns wine knows this, but I think some clarity in the description would be appropriate. It is noted, but anecdotally. I use this to store a nominal amount of my favorite wine in the basement. It cooled down quickly, after the requisite 48 hour acclimation, and maintains a very stable temp. The bonus shelving is a good addition, and makes storage less of a game of Tetris. One small nit - I would like to be able to see the internal temp without opening the unit.

Easy setup and the Main do Sommelier Shelves with the individual cradles for each bottle are excellent. By far the best on the market that I have seen.
