The EuroCave Performance Wine Cellar has 2 shelves that do not move. The capacity on these shelves are limited if you want to have the bottles accessible. I purchased the exra shelve because they hold 12 regular size wine bottles perfectly and take little space which allows me to reach maximum storage capacity.

I purchased these shelves to add to our EuroCave because the rolling shelves make it is easier to see your inventory. I am so disappointed in them! The design makes is such that the wine bottle has to precisely fit into the cradle and any bottle that is longer or wider means fewer bottles fit on the shelf. The old slat style shelf was much more flexible! In this case, NEW is NOT IMPROVED!

Certain bottles with a shorter neck and high shoulder do not fit on the individual locations on these shelves. This is fairly common. Make sure to get at least some shelving in a different style.

Useful and better than the standard shelf since it accommodates bottles of different widths with no wasted space

I found the Sommelier rolling shelf to be as advertised. Each individual bottle is now held in place securely, therefore no more rolling and rattling bottles when you pull the shelf out! Another example of Eurocave further improving the best wine cellar on the market.

These new shelves are awesome, awesome, awesome! I just took out the old rolling shelves in my Premier and replaced them with these new Main Du Sommeliers shelves and I couldn't be happier. I was tired of pulling out my shelves and hearing the bottles clinking--now they stay in place. Plus, as someone who has a collection of different bottle shapes and sizes it was difficult to fit the bottles all on a single shelf. The new hands let me easily adjust the placement of the bottles, allowing for a little more room for the wider or longer bottles. It may slightly reduce the bottle capacity of your unit but it is so worth it. Great work EuroCave! These guys are the wine cellar masters.
