Vinturi Red Wine Aerator

Uless cleaned directly after use, difficult to remove red stains in aeration tubes. A bit pricey.

Don't even think about purchasing this. It will not make any cheap wine taste better. Its all in your head if you think it did. The best it can do is aerate an older wine that needs to breathe. No need for this thing to do that though. Just pour the bottle slowly to get nice bubble action. IF you still think this makes your everyday wine taste better do a blind taste test. I did it numerous times with over 20 people and over 50% chose the glass that was poured straight from the bottle. Reds and whites.

It does help the wine breath but I'm not sure if it hurts the texture of the wine...I need to test it a bit more.

I didn't think that this item would really make a difference aerating wine, but it really does. I've done several comparisons and have to admit it makes a big difference.

This is great when opening older bottles that you don't want to wait an hour or two to drink.

Some wines get better and other turn worse with the Aerator

I received this as a gift at Christmas and had always wanted to try it but was stuck with the "if it's too good to be true...it probably is" thought. So, I was excited to receive it as a gift. I love it so much, I bought this one as a gift for a friend! I can aerate just one glass of wine at a time, or a whole bottle into my decanter...love it!

Use exclusively at home.

I ordered this for my husband for Valentines Day and he loves it!!! ( He thinks I ordered it for myself tho ) We do both love this product, it really does make a differance in the taste of the wine. It is easy to use and clean. I only wish it was less expensive so I could have two.

Although I prefer to aerate my wine when I decant it, sometimes there isn't enough time. The Vinturi wine aerator is the best substitute available!!! I have enjoyed it so much that I know give it as a gift.

My husband is the only one drinking from the open wine bottle so he likes being able to use the function of this product.

Works easily and I use it with every glass I pour. Be carfeul not pour too fast or you'll spill, but it makes the wine tast fantastic! Small enough to take anywhere, but pretty enough to sit in the open on the butler's pantry!

You could really tell the difference in the wines flavor!

I have used the Vinturi several times. It does a good job of adding air to the wine as it pours. I still think the wine needs time to breathe after using the Vinturi, but the product does help and cuts down on the aeration time. However, it is somewhat awkward to use. When pouring, and the instructions mention this, wine will come out of the holes that let in the air. You must be very careful to have the Vinturi over your glass or carafe when pouring and be careful of your pour speed. Also, it is not easy to clean sediment out of the center, although with enough washing it does clean.
