Because it is so light
I purchased this wine rack because of the amount of wine glasses that it can hold and because it is so light and slimline. It isn't heavy or bulky and that it imperative for RV's. It looks great and I use the unused slots for drying freshly washed wine glasses.

This was exactly what we needed! We had purchased similar racks at a store only to find that average size wine glasses didn't fit. These were the only ones we could find that would fit our glasses. They're very sturdy and easy to install. We put 2 on free standing shelves for glass and decanter storage in our kitchen. They look great and work great! We're so pleased.

It does exactly what it says. Depending onthe size of the glasses, it actually holds more than 12. Even if your red glasses are a bit wider than they state, just alternating red and white will permit larger glasses to fit. Fits cabinets perfectly. Nothing else comes close at this price to matching.
