Spiegelau continues to be best value in performance wine glasses. They hold up really well and I don't get upset if one breaks at the price of these

We drink wine every day, and we are careless about our wine glasses. Spiegelau's vinovino line is utilitarian, with thicker stems and thicker glass than the nicer (and expensive) Riedels, but I've already dropped one of the vinovino glasses on its foot and it didn't break. The thicker stems also mean that, after we wash them and shake the excess water out of the bowl to dry, the bowls don't break off, as have happened with Riedels. And I wouldn't be ashamed to bring them out to dinner guests. All in all a good buy.

This is a great lead free more eco-friendly substitute for the more traditional leaded crystal, without loss of style and still a good feel.

Usually Spiegelau is a very good and better value alternative to Riedel. In this particular case they are just cheesy glasses. I would still buy the better Spiegelau

Great value. I like these better than Riedel Vinum because the stem and bowl are one piece; it feels good in your hand.
