Jean Dubost Laguiole 24-Piece Flatware Set (Pearlized Ivory)

This flatware cracks and breaks after a few rounds in the dishwasher, even though it is marketed as dishwasher safe. Chunks of the plastic fell out and into bowls of soup making this a poorly constructed product as well as a consumer safety risk.

For the same price, you are able to buy in most places only six steak knives. With this set, not only do you get steak-knife qualities knives, you also get forks, soup spoons and tea spoons. What a deal!

I own and love the Laguiole cheese knife set, and was excited to find the flatware set (which I purchased as a Christmas gift), which has the trademark bee and is a very nice shape. However, I was extremely disappointed at the weight and overall look: the pieces were very light weight, the material appeared thin and poorly manufactured, and they were not very sturdy and easily bent. I plan to return this product and stick with the cheese serving set from this manufacturer.

Beautiful flatware that is great quality and reasonable price. I plan to buy another set of this same flatware in the near future because I love it.

Very stylish modern design, pleasure to use at every meal! Would definitely buy it again!

The box arrived with a small piece of broken wood that holds one of the spoons.

I love the set but I didn't notice that it does not come with salad forks. It is a pain. I would like it better if it had salad forks. My mistake. I didn't pay close enough attention and just assumed it came with them. You know what they say about making assumptions.
