Great looking wine rack

The finish is very attractive and the long, curving lines make this a truly decorative, artistic piece. I was very pleased with how well the bottles are held by the stave -- I was concerned they might slip. They are very secure. It comes fully assembled which is great! It is very strongly built, no flimsiness detected at all. It is a fairly long and substantial piece so this is not a "space-saver" if you're looking for that sort of thing. We love it and display it in our kitchen but plan to put it on a console in our dining room eventually. It fits our decor (country-rustic) perfectly. It has a distressed cherry/mahogany color wood finish and you can see the old barrel wood characteristics/markings clearly. We love that. But it is not a pristine, highly finished modern look (other than the style). Very highly recommended.
