A great gift idea.

I made one of these for a good friend. It was so fun to put together - all the wine corks brought back so many memories with our friends. It truly is a one of a kind gift! She was overwhelmed when I gave it to her - she took it around our office showing everyone. Now is seems everyone wants to make one or better yet, have me make one for them. (That would be a lot of wine to drink!) :)

Bought this for a friend for her Birthday. The corks I used are from wines we drank together.

Since it takes more than 100 corks to fill the tray, this tray evolves as you enjoy more wine. It just takes a little planning about how you will arrange the corks. The wood used is quite attractive and the unit is solidly made. My only concern is durability of the transparent plastic cover.

I've been wanting to make one of these for years. They even have different pattern ideas at http://www.wineenthusiast.com/corkpatterns/ It's fun and I love it. I didn't even need to glue the corks down because it has plexiglass to hold them down. So, I can change or redo it if I want!!

This product is the perfect gift for that wine lover who has collected their favorite corks over the years. Be prepared to spend some time setting it up because corks are not all the same size and shape. Once your design is complete, it is essential that you glue a majority of the corks down. This takes the most time but will be worth it when your corks are facing the right direction. Have fun talking about when, where and how good or bad the wine was.

My mother saved corks for years. Now she has something to display her corks in and is truly functional besides.

I use this product for cheese and crackers, any kind of serving really. Not good for wine glasses, too unstable for stemware.
